AUC Ventures Lab and ITIDA kick off startup Launchpad with the aim to enrich Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem.

AUC Ventures Lab (member of Babson collaborative for entrepreneurship education) and ITIDA (IT Industry Development Agency) have announced their collaboration on startup Launchpad.

The eight-week program aims to support and inspire the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem and to offer extensive training, networking and skill development opportunities. The program is designed for passionate individuals with interest in technology and entrepreneurship. The Launchpad will help participants validate their innovative solutions and identify market gaps.

The 2020 Global Startup Ecosystem Report(GSER) highlighted Cairo as the perfect test bed for innovation and an attractive market for scalability. It was ranked as one of the top 10 global ecosystems for affordable talent in 2020 and one of the top 10 African and middle eastern ecosystem in funding.

The program will start in January and end in March with a pitch day.

Entrepreneurs can apply to join the program from November 15 through January 3. Entrepreneurs will be awarded certificates from ITIDA and AUC Venture Lab upon completion of the program
